 What is the CSS exam?

CSS (Central Superior Services) is not a new word for anyone. We all know that CSS is the most prestigious exam in Pakistan. CSS is conducted by Federal Public Service Commission every year in February.

But, the New era begins with new stories. CSS exam pattern is going to change from next year in Feb 2022.

CSS is a civil services exam and was conducted through old methods since the '90s.

Previously, CSS consisted of 12 subjects. Six compulsory subjects and six optional Subjects.

Passing marks for each subject were 33 and the question paper includes 20 MCQs and 5 descriptive questions.

 

CSS Screening Test

The government of Pakistan recently announced some changes in the pattern of CSS.

Now CSS exam includes Screening Test. Aspirants have to qualify CSS Screening test to appear in CSS descriptive papers.

CSS exam which is going to be started in February 2022 is the first CSS exam where candidates have to qualify Screening Test.

 

How to prepare for CSS Screening Test

This is the main question that is arising in every CSS aspirant mind who is going to appear in the CSS 2022 exam.

CSS Screening Test is consist of MCQs questions. Most of the questions will be from CSS Past Papers MCQs.

CSS Screening Test Syllabus

CSS Screening Test Syllabus consists of only CSS compulsory subjects.

So prepare yourself for CSS compulsory subjects MCQs which are already uploaded on our site.

The pattern will be as:
Number of Questions: 200 (MCQs) Total Marks: 200 (1 mark per question)

Time Allowed: 3 hours 

Probably CSS Screening Test Syllabus will be divided into three parts:

 

First Part

English (Number of MCQs = 40) Vocabulary, Grammar usage, Comprehension 

CSS English idioms, CSS English Synonyms and Antonyms, CSS Sentence Correction and other mcqs like parts of speech and active voice passive voice mcqs will be part of CSS Screening Test English MCQs paper.

 

Second Part

General Abilities (Number of MCQs = 40) 

(a) Basic Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry, (SSC Level) 

 

(b) Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability

(c) General and Mental Ability

Third Part

General Knowledge (Number of MCQs = 90)

(a) Everyday Science (30 MCQs)
 

(b) Current Affairs (30 MCQs) 

 

(c) Pakistan Affairs (30 MCQs)

 

Part 04:  

Islamiat (Number of MCQs = 30) is confirmed to confirm that there will be no per subject passing policy, aspirants only have to secure 33 marks to qualify CSS Screening Test Mcqs.
